The radical right is using buzzwords and straw men to undermine public education in its attempt to hijack our schools. If they're successful, our teachers will be limited in their capacity to teach accurate history and cultural events.

 

We cry foul. Our public school teachers have devoted their lives to educating our children, and their teaching methodologies have evolved over time to include more points of view and best practices - just as experts in all fields do. We trust educators and administrators to incorporate and enrich this next generation with tools to succeed in an ever connected world, and that's part of what DEIJ is all about.
